In May 2002, in the front of All Saints Ministry Centre Newcastle Street Morisset, the Op Shop was born. We currently have approximately 55 volunteers who work in the shop - six mornings a week.

Behind the scenes we have four co-ordinators who put the clothes through four layers of sorting. We have five or six groups who received donations from us.

Our helpers include menders, ironers, rag cutters and those who minister by listening to our clients. The combination of talents and services is an amazing combined ministry.

Some of the people that come to the shop would not go to church and they have interaction with our church workers..

They know they can just come and talk. We often give out brochures and promote parish events.

Many of our clients like to put back into the community by donating items to us. We certainly don't need to encourage donations - the generosity is incredible.
