This ministry area is responsible for encouraging all members

of the Parish in their daily prayer and worship by

• Enriching, developing and enhancing inclusive community worship and prayer

• Planning times of worship and prayer that reflect the liturgical seasons

and significant feast days

• Developing a variety of creative, visual, audio and technology resources

• Encouraging a variety of prayer and liturgical formats to

assist people in their faith journey

Current ministries/activities

• Regular Eucharistic services (Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday) and daily offices

• Liturgy support (set-up, clean-up, sacristan, servers)

• Singing group, musicians and visual/audio (technological and creative)

• Parish prayer days and meditation groups

Additional future short-term goals

• To ensure that three significant days are included on the Parish calendar for

special celebrations - Pentecost, Thanksgiving for Creation and All Saints

• Encourage more to attend Morning Prayer on a regular basis

• Plan to have four prayer days - Lent (March), Pentecost (May)

Spring blessings (late August) and Advent (early December)

• Plan a survey to gather Church community thoughts about prayer and worship

• Assist with the Christmas Carol Service and Barbecue (December 2008)
