The All Saints Gardens

Over the past twenty years, loyal parishioners like Madge Henderson planted

the bones of the gardens with bottle brush and violets - a great beginning.

During the last ten years, growth of the gardens has proceeded. With the opening of

the new church building - All Saints - new garden projects have evolved.

Around All Saints, we have a row of nine grafted flowering gums, with

Agapanthus in the car park. They are a sight at Christmastime.

On the tree stump and the Cross are white Hardenbergia.

Coming under the sail between the buildings, red Geraniums and

Cycads are a wonderful welcome.

Behind the sign on Newcastle Street stands a Euphorbia - a white Poinsettia -

which is a giant white snowball in Winter.

In front of the Ministry Centre we have an Azalea and Camelia bed.

Near Christmastime, the Australian Christmas Bush and

the Kangaroo Paws give a wonderful welcome to visitors.

Come and wander through the gardens - it would be good to see you.
